PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two 
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around don't drown.

The Flood Warning is cancelled for
  The Smoky Hill River At Ellsworth.
* At  6:01 PM Wednesday the stage was 19.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Fell below flood stage at  3:18 PM Wednesday.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to 16.8 feet by Thursday
  morning.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet...Some flooding of low-lying areas, bottom 
  land and roads near the gage site can be expected. The Highway 14 
  Bridge is closed to southbound traffic at the gage site.
