  Smoky Hill River At Lindsborg affecting McPherson County.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two 
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around don't drown.

  The Smoky Hill River At Lindsborg.
* At 2:30 PM Wednesday the stage was 20.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Fell below flood stage at 12:52 PM Wednesday.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to 13.2 feet by Thursday
  morning.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet...South bank overflows extend out to 20 feet 
  from bank. Old Mill Park floods along with low lying fields in 
  rural areas.

  The Buckner Creek Near Burdett 7W affecting Hodgeman and Pawnee 
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 Safety message...

Do not drive through flowing water or go around barricades. Nearly 
half of all flood fatalities are vehicle related. Turn around don't 
drown.

for further information.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Buckner Creek Near Burdett 7W.
* At  2:45 PM Wednesday the stage was 20.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 20.8 feet by this
  evening. The river will fall below flood stage by late Friday 
  morning.
* Impact...At 21.7 feet...Expect moderate flooding up to 5 feet or 
  more along the lower terraces of Buckner Creek. Move livestock well
  away from the main channel. The Creekside Cemetery Road along 
  Buckner Creek north of Gray will become inundated by two or more 
  feet of water. Northeast 232 Road and bridge which crosses Buckner 
  Creek north of Gray will become flooded as the river stage passes 
  21.7 feet.
* this crest compares to a previous crest of 19.2 feet on August 22 
  2006.

* At 3 PM Wednesday the stage was 23.0 feet.
  
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
  
* Forecast: The Beaver Creek is currently cresting below flood 
  stage and is forecast to begin falling Wednesday evening. Any 
  additional forecast information will be issued via hydrologic 
  statements for this location for this event.
  
* Impact...At 23.0 feet...Shallow and short duration flooding of 
  lowlands along and near the creek may occur in southern Wilbarger 
  County and southwestern Wichita County.
