The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Eastern Lee County in central South Carolina...
  Central Chesterfield County in central South Carolina...
  Northeastern Clarendon County in central South Carolina...
  East central Sumter County in central South Carolina...

* Until 430 PM EDT.

* At 230 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to tropical 
  showers and isolated thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding 
  in vulnerable low spots and cause ponding of water on roadways in 
  the advisory area. Up to three inches of rain fell earlier this 
  morning and additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Bishopville, Mcbee, Turbeville, Lynchburg and Shiloh. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

Stay away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams. Water
levels can rise rapidly.
