The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Central Vernon Parish in west central Louisiana...

* Until 1130 PM CDT.

* At 928 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
  the advisory area. 1 to 2 inches of rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Leesville, Rosepine, Anacoco, Fort Polk, Slagle, Deridder, New
  Llano, Hornbeck, Kurthwood and Pickering.

Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected over the area. This 
additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
