  Smoky Hill River At New Cambria affecting Saline County.

  Smoky Hill River At Ellsworth affecting Ellsworth County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two 
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around don't drown.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Smoky Hill River At Ellsworth.
* Until Thursday afternoon.
* At  4:16 PM Tuesday the stage was 19.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tonight and continue to rise 
  to near 22.0 feet by Wednesday morning. The river will fall below 
  flood stage by early Thursday morning.
* Impact...At 23.0 feet...The road 100 feet south of the Highway 14 
  Bridge will become inundated with about 1 ft depth of water.

  The Smoky Hill River At New Cambria.
* From late tonight until late Thursday night.
* At  3:45 PM Tuesday the stage was 22.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early Wednesday morning and 
  continue to rise to near 28.8 feet by Wednesday evening. The river 
  will fall below flood stage by Thursday afternoon.
* Impact...At 29.5 feet...Water covers Rail Road and Mill Street, 
  Cunningham Road and also First Street and Second Street.
