PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two 
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around don't drown.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Chikaskia River Near Corbin.
* Until late Thursday night.
* At  12 PM Tuesday the stage was 15.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by 
  Thursday early afternoon.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet...Widespread flooding of low-lying areas and 
  agricultural areas can be expected especially downstream.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Cimarron River near Guthrie. 
  
* from late tonight to late Thursday night...or until the warning is
  cancelled. 
  
* At 1:30 PM Tuesday the stage was 15.3 feet. 
  
* Minor flooding is forecast. 
  
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet. 
  
* Forecast...The Cimarron River will rise above flood stage early 
  Wednesday morning and crest near 19.6 feet early Thursday morning. 
  The Cimarron River will fall below flood stage Thursday evening. 
  
* Impact...At 20.0 feet...Rural areas may overflow to depths 
  averaging about a foot...in Logan and Payne counties. U.S. Highway
  77 north of Guthrie is impassable. Low-lying fields and oil wells 
  may be flooded or isolated for a few hours...by flows in cutoff 
  channels crossing the flood plain.
