Gusty winds and locally heavy rain are the primary threats. Any additional heavy rain will be falling on saturated ground leading to an increased risk of flash flooding. As a result, a flash flood watch remains in effect for much of the outlook area through early this afternoon. Area rivers are experiencing flooding.
