There is a chance of thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon into 
Wednesday night ahead of an approaching cold front. There is a 
marginal risk of severe storms, with wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph 
being the main hazard.

There is a chance of thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon into 
Wednesday night ahead of an approaching cold front. There is a 
marginal risk of severe storms, with wind gusts of 50 knots being 
the main hazard. 

Small Craft Advisories may be needed for some nearshore waters by 
early Thursday morning. In fact, a pocket of gale force wind gusts 
will be possible from parts of Saginaw Bay on into the open waters 
of Lake Huron.
