Please monitor the latest river flood watches and warnings and observe any road closures. West to northwest winds will increase substantially later today and tonight, reaching speeds of 20 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 to 40 mph at times. Temperatures will be falling from the 40s into the 30s during this time resulting in wind chills in the 20s, easily the coldest experienced so far this season. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday River flooding will continue across much of Iowa for the remainder of the week.
