Occasional light snow or flurries will continue this evening. The
Winter Weather Advisories were allowed to expire at 6 PM for much
of Carbon County and southwest Albany County.

.SHORT TERM...(This evening through Friday night)

Tonight...Will continue the Winter Weather Advisory for much of our 
Carbon and Albany Counties through the afternoon, as light snow 
continues to fall there with a shortwave trough aloft passing 
overhead. Chances for light snow will decrease areawide this evening 
and end after midnight.

Thursday...An approaching shortwave trough aloft and cyclonic 
curvature will produce a chance of rain and snow showers mainly over 
our southern counties. A bit warmer.

Thursday night...As the shortwave trough aloft passes overhead, will 
see scattered rain and snow showers.

Friday...Dry and warmer with northwest flow aloft and limited low 
and mid level moisture.

.LONG TERM...(Saturday through Wednesday)

Saturday...Cooler again as another Canadian cold front passes from 
north to south and its associated shortwave trough aloft moves 
overhead, producing a chance of mainly snow showers.

Sunday...A cold end to the weekend in the wake of the cold front and 
with surface high pressure overhead. Snow chances should end in the 
morning as the shortwave trough aloft move to the south of our 
counties.

Monday...Dry and a bit warmer under northwest flow aloft, with 
downslope winds helping temperatures to rise well above freezing at 
lower elevations.

Tuesday/Wednesday...Ridging aloft slowly moves overhead with a 
warming trend continuing. No precipitation expected with lack of low 
and mid level moisture.

.AVIATION...(For the 00Z TAFS through 00Z Thursday afternoon)
Issued at 540 PM MDT Wed Oct 10 2018

MVFR CIGS will improve to VFR west of the Laramie Range this 
evening, but persist through early Thursday morning to the east. 
KCYS may experience IFR CIGS between 06Z and 12Z. MVFR VIS in -SN at 
KBFF will improve to VFR after 01Z. Surface winds will be variable 
less than 10 kt.
