This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Snow showers will spread over the mountains this morning and continue through this evening. Expect snowfall of 2 to 5 inches with higher amounts up to 10 inches over the high mountain passes and across Summit County. Snowfall will decrease later tonight while gusty west and northwest winds increase to 45 mph over the mountain passes and higher east slopes. Across lower elevations, continued mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers this afternoon and evening. Some partial clearing is expected later tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday It will be drier and warmer on Friday with temperatures rebounding back into the 50s by afternoon over the plains. Another storm system is expected to move into northern Colorado Saturday night into Sunday. Snow will develop in the mountains by Saturday evening with rain changing to snow across the plains by midnight. Snow will continue into Sunday morning but then decrease from north to south in the afternoon. Snow accumulations will be likely from the mountains across the plains.
