.SHORT TERM...Today through Thursday...A low pressure system
centered over northern Utah will continue to bring widespread 
showers to south-central Idaho early this morning. The low will
continue to move east, resulting in decreasing shower activity
later this morning. A weak upper trough will move in from the 
north for scattered showers in central Idaho this afternoon and 
evening. The trough will exit to the southeast on Thursday with
showers ending by afternoon. Northerly flow will keep temperatures
cool through the period, although trending slightly warmer each 
day. 

.LONG TERM...Thursday night through Tuesday...Weak ridging will 
develop over the area on Friday, with slightly warmer 
temperatures. A cold front will move across Montana on Saturday, 
bringing a reinforcement of cooler temperatures (around 10 degrees
below normal) through Sunday. Upper level ridging begins to build
across the Pacific NW on Tuesday which will bring a warming trend
with temperatures nearing normal by midweek.

.AVIATION...Generally VFR, except low ceilings with MVFR to IFR 
(and local LIFR conditions overnight) near KTWF KJER continuing 
through 00z/Thu. Mountains remaining obscured. Surface winds: NW 
5-15kt, with higher gusts to 25kt near KONO, becoming light and 
variable after 03z/Thu. Winds aloft at 10kft MSL: northerly 
5-10kt.
