The low will continue to move east, resulting in decreasing shower activity later this morning. A weak upper trough will move in from the north for scattered showers in central Idaho this afternoon and evening. The trough will exit to the southeast on Thursday with showers ending by afternoon. Northerly flow will keep temperatures cool through the period, although trending slightly warmer each day. .LONG TERM...Thursday night through Tuesday...Weak ridging will develop over the area on Friday, with slightly warmer temperatures. A cold front will move across Montana on Saturday, bringing a reinforcement of cooler temperatures (around 10 degrees below normal) through Sunday.
