This hazardous weather outlook is for northern Lower Michigan...
eastern Upper Michigan...and adjacent nearshore waters of Lake
Michigan...Lake Huron and Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Gale force winds will occur over Whitefish Bay in Lake Superior, 
as well as the Lake Michigan and northern Lake Huron nearshore 
waters today through this evening, including the Straits of 
Mackinac.

Recent moderate to heavy rainfall has resulted in rises on area 
rivers and streams. Minor flooding is expected along the Rifle 
River near Sterling, and moderate near record flooding is expected
along the Pine River near Rudyard. Additional minor flooding is 
possible along other streams and rivers near Saginaw Bay, as well 
as in eastern upper Michigan.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Minor flooding is expected along the Rifle River near Sterling 
into Friday. Additional minor flooding is possible along other 
streams and rivers near Saginaw Bay, as well as in eastern upper 
Michigan.
