This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of north and central
New Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Moisture associated with the remnants of Tropical Storm Sergio will
cross southern New Mexico on Friday night through mid day Saturday.
The heaviest rainfall amounts will be south of a line from Quemado to
Tucumcari. Flooding is not anticipated. 

A strong storm system combined with a potent cold front will arrive
Saturday night and Sunday. Temperatures will be between 25 and 35 
degrees below normal Sunday across eastern New Mexico behind the 
back door front. However, of greater concern, is the potential for 
an early season winter storm across the northern mountains and 
northeast New Mexico Sunday through Sunday night. Several inches of 
snow are possible. This may be an abrupt end to the growing season
across eastern New Mexico.
